The Tourism Research and Development Platform (TU-AR) organized the inaugural Sustainable Tourism Summit on July 7-8, with support from BRM Board Members. The event featured 11 separate sessions with over 50 speakers emphasizing the importance of sustainability in the sector. The first panel, moderated by BRM member Melek Çubuk (TU-AR General Coordinator), examined sustainable tourism through the UN Sustainable Development Goals lens.
