In entering 2025, we carefully observe developments at Boğaziçi University, one of Turkey's most valuable educational institutions. As BRM, we wish to reemphasize the importance of free and autonomous universities, democratic and inclusive management approaches. Our sole aim and hope is that the quality and spirit of Boğaziçi—which has produced invaluable graduates contributing to our country and the world—continues to be passed on to many more generations. We hope 2025 will be a year when we can collectively realize the university ideal based on free, autonomous, and participatory principles in Turkey, preparing a much better future for our youth.
